Consider the ReformDemocrats if you believe:
-> The current Democratic party has been failing to make a forceful case for progressive principles
-> Democrats have been too willing to compromise on core principles
-> We must work within the party to prevent splitting our vote as occurred with Ralph Nadar
-> We need a tax code that truly supports the working and middle class
-> We need a party deeply serious about addressing environmental collapse
-> Achieving real change requires clear, specific goals, and a strategic plan
-> We need citizen politicians committed to the long haul and a political party not bought by special interests
ReformDemocrats is unique. We are a group of committed volunteer citizens with no official party support and no corporate funding. Our mission is to confront the long-term problems that our political system ignores, offer policy solutions to these problems, and work for the enactment of our program.
We recognize that new political leadership is needed to enact such a program, and we aim to build that new leadership by directly engaging in the electoral process.
We are building an organization that combines the strength of a broadly oriented think tank, a policy advocacy group, and a political organization. Unlike single-issue interest groups, we are developing a coherent, integrated program for addressing our nation’s most challenging problems.
We believe that these problems require true solutions, not just incremental improvements and politically palatable adjustments. We view these problems as interconnected and we provide integrated and comprehensive solutions. And we are committed to politics for the long-haul, not just the next election.
